Albany, NY -  Off Track Betting workers from New York City are heading to the State Capital this morning to lobby lawmakers for help. The betting group lost many of their workers last year after the New York State Senate failed to reach an agreement that would have bailed them out and stop the closure of all OTB offices.

Members are hoping that they can persuade lawmakers to help them soon as they face the effects of the massive job losses such as healthcare benefits, which are set to run out if a solution isn't found that would breath life back into their organization.
