NYACK, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities in suburban New York say a man was injured when he fell from a cliff at a state park.

The Journal News reports the incident happened at Nyack Beach State Park Sunday afternoon. Police say the 22-year-old Tarrytown man ventured away from a trail before he fell 20 feet from a trail and was knocked unconscious.

Emergency personnel responded and treated the man for a concussion. He was taken to Westchester Medical Center for injuries that are not life-threatening.
