Officials Still Assessing Mississippi Tornado Damage

Officials are still assessing damage from tornadoes that hit Mississippi this week.

Barns, mobile homes, and homes in Hinds, Winston, Copiah, Leake, Bolivar, and Newshoba counties reported damage Tues and Wednesday.

The National Weather Service reports that at least two of the tornadoes were classified as EF-1 systems.

Property damage and injuries have been reported.
