Oneida County Jail Going To The Dogs
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is announcing its first "From Wags to Riches" success story.
The inmate-dog training program started eight weeks ago at the County jail.
"Romeo" is the first dog to complete the program and has been adopted by Correction Officer Michael Tefft. "Romeo" was trained by inmate Scott Leisner.
The next dog from the Stevens Swan Humane Society will arrive at the jail on Monday.
