Oneida County Sheriff’s Deputy Involved In Accident

An Oneida County Sheriff's Office Deputy was involved in a two-car accident in the Town of Kirkland on Friday morning.

The Sheriff's Office say Deputy Brian Warcup was traveling on College Hill Road, responding to an emergency call, when he tried to pass an SUV near the intersection of Green Apple Way.

They say the driver of the SUV made a left turn in front of Warcup and the two vehicles collided.

Warcup suffered minor injuries and was treated on the scene.

The driver of the SUV, 27-year old Nicholas Solano of Boston, was not injured.

No tickets have been issued at this time.
