Oneida County Sheriff’s Deputy Involved In Three Car Accident

An Oneida County Sheriff's Deputy was involved in a three-car accident on Route 233 near the entrance to the Oneida Travel Plaza service road.

The Sheriff's Office says Deputy Lisa Pearsall's marked patrol vehicle rear-ended one car and the force of the collision caused the car to hit another vehicle.

All three vehicles suffered extensive damage.

Pearsall was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and later released.

Officials say the investigation indicates driver inattention on behalf of Deputy Pearsall appears to be the contributing factor in the crash.
