Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Gets New Equipment
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office has some new crime fighting tools.
The Sheriff's Office recently received $45,000 in state grants to buy a new patrol car and a Mobile Smart Board
The grants were announced by Senator Joseph Griffo and Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi.
Sheriff Rob Maciol says the Smart Board can be used to do crime mapping and tracking and to assst with incident command functions at critical incidents.
The grant money was also used to improve furniture and flooring at the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
