Oneida Nation Presents 25K To Verona Fire District

Oneida, NY (WIBX) - Taking care of those who protect them, the Oneida Nation presented its quarterly $25,000 check to the Verona Fire District today.

Wolf Clan member of the Oneida Nation Council Chuck Fougnier presented the check to Verona Fire District Chairman Bob Deep in a small ceremony.

Since 1993 the Oneida Nation has paid the department more than $1.2 million under an agreement made by the two groups that enables the tax-exempt Oneida Nation to contribute to the Verona Fire District.
