The Oneida Indian Nation is once again making a push for the NFL's Washington Football team to stop using the nickname 'Redskins.'

This week the Oneidas will air radio spots in Detroit and Baltimore leading up to Thanksgiving Day when both teams will host games.

These are the first ads that are not being aired in a city where Washington is playing.

The new spots celebrate the idea of Thanksgiving and sends thanks out to those who have supported The Oneida Nation's efforts of putting an end to the Redskins mascot.

The new commercials can be heard at the Change the Mascot website.
