Passing Of The Shillelagh Held For Utica St. Patrick’s Day Parade [VIDEO]

Preparations for Utica's St. Patrick's Day Parade are in full swing.

A ceremony was held Tuesday night at the Stanley Theater, were the passing of the shillelagh took place.

Last year's parade Grand Marshal Sister Maureen Denn handed over the shillelagh to this year's Grand Marshal, WKTV Vice President and General Manager Steve McMurray.

A number of past parade grand marshals were also on hand.

Utica's St. Patrick Day Parade gets underway on Saturday morning at 10:00.
