Poland Woman Charged With DWI

A Poland woman is facing charges after allegedly driving drunk in the area of Routes 8 and 840 in New Hartford.

New Hartford Police say 51-year old Dorothy Ozog was driving southbound in the northbound lane when she was pulled over.

Ozog was charged with misdemeanor DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Police say Ozog's license had been revoked due to a previous driving while intoxicated conviction.

Because of her previous conviction, the case will be turned over to the Oneida County District Attorney's Office for possible grand jury action on felony DWI charges.
