BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Police in upstate New York say they've found the body of a Buffalo man who went missing about a month ago.

WGRZ-TV reports Buffalo police responded to reports of a dead body Sunday afternoon. Police Capt. Jeff Rinaldo says the body was David Dickens-Anderson, who was reported missing in late September.

Rinaldo says the body was badly decomposed. Erie County medical examiners are planning an autopsy to determine the man's cause of death.

Police are investigating.
