Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Pollster John Zogby says Egyptians are unhappy with U.S. policies.

In a blog written by Zogby on his website, he says not only do Egyptians have a negative view on U.S. policy, they are disappointed with President Barack Obama.

He says this information was first known from a poll that was conducted last year for the University of Maryland. That poll showed 85 percent of Egyptians held an unfavorable attitude toward the U.S. and 87 percent of those polled had no confidence in America.

Last year's poll also showed 60 percent of Egyptians were discouraged by Obama's Middle East policies and 54 percent had a negative view of him.

"Opinion of the U.S. is bound to worsen if the people's insurrection against the Mubarak government turns out badly for them," Zogby said.
