Remington Arms in Ilion Has Job Openings

Remington Arms is advertising a handful of job openings this holiday season.

Remington has used billboard advertising and online services to promote the positions, that include supervisors, managers, electricians and engineers, among other openings.

In May of this year, Remington Outdoor Company emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy after successfully implementing its reorganization plan, that was proposed in March. The plan provided a restructuring of the company and converted over $775 million of  Remington's debt into equity.

Remington Arms employs just under 900 workers and is Herkimer County's largest employer.
