Ricky Woods Found Not Guilty At Second Trial

A jury has found 20-year old Ricky Woods of Yorkville not guilty of second-degree murder.

The verdict was reached on Tuesdayin Oneida County Court.

Woods faced the charge for the December 2015 shooting death of 26-year old Jamal Mathis of Utica on Leeds Street.

Woods' first trail in 2017 ended in a mistrial.
