Robert Tracy Announces Candidacy For Rome Mayor [AUDIO]

Republican Robert Tracy, who works as an actor with the Rome-based Chatham Theatre Company, has announced his candidacy for Mayor of Rome.

Tracy made his announcement on Wednesday at Rome's Capitol Theater.

Tracy also says the city needs to hold the line on property taxes and do a better job in bringing outside dollars into the community.

Mayor Joseph Fusco's term is up at the end of the year and Fusco has said he'll run for re-election

Tracy says he will run in a GOP primary against Fusco.
