A Rome man has been charged with allegedly having inappropriate contact with several underage females in the City of Rome.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, the investigation into 17-year-old Dylan Shalna began in July of this year.

During the course of that investigation it was learned that Shalna had sexual contact with a total of three children, ages 12, 14 and 15.

As a result, Shalna is facing four counts of Sexual Misconduct, one count of Sexual Abuse and three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of all three victims and they've also been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center.
