Rome Man Charged With Arson For June Fire

Rome, NY (WIBX) - Following a month-long investigation, a Rome man injured during a house fire last month has been charged with felony arson.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, Ronald Lamascolo, 59,was charged with starting the June 4th fire on Elmer Hill Road.

Lamascolo was inside the home when police and fire crews arrived and has been recovering in the hospital since the incident.

He was sent to Oneida County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
