Rome Man Facing Grand Larceny Charges

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Rome man and charged him with grand larceny. 

33-year old Matthew Smith, Junior allegedly failed to pay for over $1,800 in repair work that was done to his pickup truck by Cushman's Automotive in Floyd.

Deputies say Smith picked up his vehicle and said he was going to the bank and would be back to pay the repair invoice, but never returned to pay.

Smith was released on an Appearance Ticket returnable to Floyd Town Court on a later date.
