A Rome man is this week's Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers Wanted Person of the Week, wanted on charges of domestic violence, among other accusations in a handful of municipalities.

30-year-old LD F. Carter is wanted on three Rome City Court Arrest Warrants – all for Criminal Contempt 2nd, according to Officer Kevin James of the Rome Police.  James says Carter is also wanted on one Rome City Court Bench Warrant for Criminal Mischief 4th, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Unlawful Imprisonment (All Class A Misdemeanors)  and Harassment 2nd, a Violation. Police say the charges stem from domestic violence cases in 2020 and 2021.

Carter is also wanted by two other local police agencies. He is wanted by the Utica Police for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both Class A Misdemeanors. He is also wanted by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office for Grand Larceny 3rd a Class D Felony, according to James. His last known address is Park Drive Manor in Rome.

Carter is wanted on three Rome City Court Arrest Warrants – all for Criminal Contempt 2nd a class A Misdemeanor and one Rome City Court Bench Warrant for Criminal Mischief 4th, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Unlawful Imprisonment (All Class A Misdemeanors)  and Harassment 2nd, a Violation.

All of the above charges are stemming from domestic incidents that occurred between 2020 and 2021.

Carter is also wanted by the Utica Police for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both Class A Misdemeanors.

Carter is also wanted by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office for Grand Larceny 3rd - a Class D Felony

Police added as a reminder that "everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law."
