Route 49 Accident Update: Road Reopened

Floyd, NY (WIBX) - Route 49 eastbound has been reopened, following an accident near Nine Mile Bridge, in Floyd.

Early reports are saying a women was injured and taken away by an ambulance.

The original accident occurred at around 10 this morning, and exits from Griffiss to Oriskany were shut down.

This morning's incident is still under investigation, and more information will be released once it is known.
