Route 49 Eastbound Ramp Onto Arterial Closing

Drivers are now facing detours if they plan to enter the arterial from the Route 49 eastbound ramp.

The New York State Department of Transportation says the ramp will be closed for the next six weeks for bridge joint replacement.

Detours will be made available to help drivers get onto the arterial by a different route.

The DOT is also reminding motorists that speeding in a work zone area will result in doubled fines.
