Ryan Braun will miss the final 65 games of the season, including any postseason games the Brewers play. The Milwaukee Brewers outfielder has been suspended without pay for the rest of the 2013 season after violating Major League Baseball's drug policy.

The MLB says the punishment is due to "violations of the Basic Agreement and its Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program."

Braun is the first player suspended after the MLB's Biogenesis investigation. The MLB tried to suspend Braun in 2012 after finding high levels of testosterone in his urine, but was unable to due to the mishandling of the sample.

ESPN.com is reporting Braun will not appeal this suspension.
