State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has adopted new regulations that will require non-profit groups to make stronger disclosures of their political campaign activities.

Non-profits that are registered with the state will now be required to report the percentage of their expenditures that go to federal, state and local elections.

Groups that spend at least $10,000 will have to file an itemized list of expenses and contributions.

Those disclosures will be available on the Attorney General's New York Open Government website.
