Sheriff’s Investigate Armed Robbery In Marcy [UPDATE]

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery in the Town of Marcy.

It happened just before 9:30 last night at the Dollar General Store on Route 365.

Authorities are expected to release more information later today.

UPDATED 6/5 8:49 a.m.- A Herkimer man has been arrested for allegedly robbing the Dollar General Store on Route 365 in the Town of Marcy on Wednesday night.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 32-year old Mark Stanley threatened the clerk with a knife and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Stanley is charged with first-degree robbery.

He's being held in the Oneida County Jail without bail.
