Sheriff’s Investigating Serious Accident On Old Oneida Road

UPDATED 5:57 p.m.- A Rome man was seriously injured Monday afternoon in a one-car accident on Old Oneida Road in the City of Rome.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 38-year old Peter Cutler lost control of his vehicle, which hit a culvert and became airborne before rolling over several times.

Culter was air lifted by Mercy Flight Helicopter to a Syracuse hospital and is listed in serious condition.

The investigation into the accident is continuing.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is investigating a serious, one-car accident on Old Oneida Road in the City of Rome.

The accident was reported at around 3:40 this afternoon.

Deputies say one person was air lifted to the hospital by Mercy Flight with serious injuries.
