Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police arrest a twenty-one year old Utica man, after allegedly shooting another man at a Howard Avenue house party, early Sunday morning.

According to UPD, both men were arguing when Jarrell Lloyd pulled a handgun, shooting 24 year old Craig Chisholm in the leg. Chisholm was able to run from the scene, he later called 911 and was treated and released from a local hospital.

When Police caught up with Lloyd a short time later, they found a loaded 9mm hand gun in his waistband.  He was taken into custody and charged with three felonies, including assault and weapon possession. Police apprehended Lloyd on Francis Street.
