Shots Fired Incident In West Utica

The investigation into a shots fired incident at Sunset Avenue and Shaw Street in Utica continues.

Officers responded to the area just after 9:30 last night and found several spent shell casings, along with traces of blood

It's not known at this time if someone had been shot.

A man was seen running westbound on Shaw Street after the incident and then northbound on Sunset Avenue.

Police say a white vehicle was also seen leaving the area, going toward Genesee Street.
