Sisters Charged With Falsifying Business Records
Two sisters are facing charges for allegedly making false merchandise returns at the JC Penney in Sangertown Sqaure.
New Hartford Police say 33-year old Robyn House of Utica and 34-year old Heather House of New York Mills took merchandise from the store shelves and made a false return of the items.
The two were then issued store credit in the form of gift cards.
Both women were charged with falisfying business records and petty larceny.
Heather House was also found to have an active bench warrant out of the Town of New Hartford.
