In New York State American Legion Tournament action on Friday (August 1, 2014) Smith Post of Rome falls to the Saratoga Stampede 5-0. It was Smith Post's first loss of the tournament, after earning a 3-2 victory earlier in the day to complete a weather delayed game that started earlier in the week.
