Speed and Road Conditions Blamed for New Year’s Eve Accident in Rome
Speed and road conditions are being blamed for a New Year's Eve accident in Rome, New York.
Oneida County Sheriffs say thirty-year-old Demetrius Gadwaw lost control of his Chevy Trailblazer while rounding a curve on Gore Road at about 7:39 Tuesday night. The vehicle slid off the road and hit a tree.
Gadwaw was treated at the scene and brought to the hospital for additional treatment. He was issued a traffic ticket.
Sheriff's deputies were assisted by the Lee Center Fire Department and AmCare.
