If you're planning on enjoying the St. Patrick's Day festivities this weekend, make sure you have a designated driver.

That's the message from State Police as they prepare to begin a campaign to crackdown on drinking and driving this St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Drivers can expect to see sobriety checkpoints, additional DWI patrols and increased inspections on underage drinking and sales to minors beginning Friday, March 14, and running through Monday, March 17.

State police will also be ticketing drivers using cell phones and electronic devices.
