Stittville Man Arrested After Allegedly Attacking His Girlfriend

Holland Patent, NY (WIBX) - Police arrested a Stittville man following a domestic incident in Holland Patent. Officials say 19-year-old Wade M. McAllister, of Rt 291 Stittville, attacked his girlfriend after an argument while she was driving, causing her to lose control of the vehicle.

The victim told police, after coming to an uncontrolled stop, she drove to a nearby store where the suspect fled on foot. McAllister was spotted walking on railroad tracks and subsequently taken into custody. Officials say the suspect had a duffel bag containing nearly 50 grams of marijuana and an array of drug paraphernalia, including cash.

McAllister is charged with 5th Degree Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Trespass on a railroad-both are Misdemeanor offenses. The suspect is in Oneida County Jail with bond set at $1,500.
