Stolen Wallet From St. Luke’s Leads To Larceny Charges For Utica Man
A stolen wallet has led to Felony charges for a Utica man.
According to New Hartford Police, officials were called to St. Luke's Hospital on January 27th regarding the stolen wallet complaint.
At the time of the theft, the victim was a visitor at the hospital. The wallet contained cash and credit cards.
An investigation revealed the alleged suspect to be Dareece Outten. He has been charged with two counts of Grand Larceny and one count of Petit Larceny. Outten will answer the charges at a later date in New Hartford Town Court.
New Hartford Police was assisted in the investigation by St. Luke's Security and the Mohawk Valley Crime Analysis Center.
