Syracuse Football dropped seven spots in both national polls this week after a sobering 36-3 defeat in Yankee Stadium at the hands of third-ranked Notre Dame.

The Orange entered with a No.12 ranking, and an offense that came in averaging 44-points per game. Quarterback Eric Dungey left in the first quarter with an upper body injury and did not return. Tommy DeVito was unable to do much under center, going 14-of-31 for 105 yards and two interceptions.

'Cuse was contained to just 234 yards of offense, and three points.

Dungey's status for Saturday's regular season finale at Boston College is unclear.
