Syracuse Man Accused Of Sexual Assault And Attempted Abduction
A Syracuse man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting and trying to abduct a child in Utica.
Utica Police responded to an address in the city for a 911 report of a sexual assault and attempted abduction of an 8-year old girl.
37-year old Raoul Baldwin was identified as a suspect and later arrested.
Baldwin is facing a number of charges, including Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child.
Authorities say Baldwin, who is currently on New York State Parole, violated his parole by being in Utica instead of Syracuse.
He's being held in the Oneida County jail without bail.
The victim has been offered services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
