Syracuse University has been named the top party school in the nation by Princeton Review.

This is not the first time SU has held the number one spot. Their last time atop the leader board was in 2014.

The University ranking publication uses a number of factors to determine the rankings in several categories. When it comes to partying they look at campus drug and alcohol use, study hours and popularity of fraternities and sororities.

For Syracuse University they've made the top 10 on Princeton's list since they began ranking party schools in 2012.

According to the Daily Orange, the school has not released a statement on the most recent ranking, but back in 2014 they were not pleased with it. They choose to focus on their efforts on academics.

Another local University that made the top ten list is Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. They came in at number seven.
