A Taberg couple has been indicted by a grand jury regarding a drug investigation that dates back to early 2016.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says James Hildenbrandt, 38, and Jessica Skowron, 37, have each been indicted on several felony counts for criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance. Hildenbrandt's indictment came earlier this month, officials said.

The investigation involved the distribution of controlled prescription medications and cocaine in the Town of Annsville and surrounding areas, the Sheriff's Office said via a news release. This past November, authorities conducted a search warrant at home on Carlisle Road in Taberg, the release stated.
