Taberg Man Facing Charges In Domestic Dispute

Annsville, NY (WIBX) - The Oneida County Sheriff's office arrested a Taberg man following a domestic dispute in the Town of Annsville.
Deputies say 50-year old Stephan Marek grabbed his girlfriend by the throat and began choking her.

He also allegedly locked her in the apartment, not allowing her to leave.

She was able to escape from the apartment and called police.

Marek was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, unlawful imprisonment and harassment.

His girlfriend was taken to Rome Hospital for treatment.
