That may look to change, as original writer Meredith Stiehm has accepted a deal to return to the writer's room, leaving behind FX's 'The Bridge' as it heads into a second season.

We've given FX's upcoming remake of border drama 'The Bridge' a bit of flack for its increasingly unrevealing teaser trailers. Approaching the July 10 release date, however, the latest look into the dark new drama, starring 'Inglorious Basterds'' Diane Kruger, still doesn't offer very much in the way of story or character, but who couldn't use a lesson in US/Mexico border statistics?
