Herkimer, NY (WIBX) - Voting took place right up to the wire and came down to about two hundred votes.  In the end Ilion and Mohawk voted to merge their school districts and Herkimer voted to reject it.

Hempstead, NY (WIBX) - Forty-six percent of debate watchers are saying that President Barack Obama won the second debate which took place at Hofstra University.

Marcy, NY (WIBX) - Polls show that most debate watchers think that President Obama performed better than Republican challenger Mitt Romney during the debate, but others contend that it was a draw.
