Albany, NY (WIBX) - Teacher Report Cards will only be viewed by parents of students in their classes and not by the general public.

Under the new Teacher Evaluation Bill passed yesterday any information that is released to the public will have teachers' names redacted.

The bill passed by a vote of 58 to 1 in the State Senate and 118 to 17 in the Assembly.  Governor Cuomo has been lobbying for the bill since the beginning of the 2012 legislative session.
