Well, that didn't take long. We admittedly haven't paid very much attention to Michael J. Fox's big TV return in 'The Michael J. Fox Show' since its premiere, but somehow, we imagine their latest stunt casting arrives to address exactly that. Michael's famous 'Back to the Future' co-star Christopher Lloyd will once again reunite with the former Marty McFly for an upcoming episode, but can they really take us back in time?

Via The Hollywood Reporter, Lloyd will guest in a solitary spring episode as the eccentric principal at the high school where Mike's wife Annie ('Breaking Bad' star Betsy Brandt) teaches, going "toe-to-toe with Mike." We added in the quotes, given that "head to head" might have required just a little more crouching than the 75 year-old actor can muster these days.

Fox himself initially announced the casting over Twitter, which follows a similar 1999 move by ABC's 'Spin City,' in which Lloyd guested as Fox's character's political mentor. Many a time travel reference were made of course, with an episode title as subtle as "Back to the Future IV: Judgement Day." From a public standpoint, the pair were last seen together in 2010 for the 'Back to the Future' 25th anniversary.

Well, what say you? Does Doc Brown's return have your interest reinvested in 'The Michael J. Fox Show?' Check out their 'Spin City' reunion below, and let us know what you think in the comments!
