Thomas Poppenger Reported Missing [UPDATE]

UPDATE: 08/24/2015  3:01pm   The body of Thomas Poppenger was located on Sunday, August 23, 2015 in a wooded area near his home.

New York State Police say foul play is not suspected in his death.

Authorities are asking for your help finding a Central New York man who was last seen by family members on Thursday.

33-Year-old Thomas J. Poppenger was last seen leaving a home along Shamrock Road in the Onondaga County town of Spafford, New York just before 8:00pm on August 20, 2015.

According to a written release provided by New York State Police, Poppenger is 6'2" tall, 180 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes.  He was last seen wearing a red shirt, black shorts, and flip flops.
