Update (8:11 a.m.): The time that the problems will be resolved has been extended to Noon and more towns and villages have been added. However, some customers have had power restored.

Update (10:48 a.m.) - Power is now expected to be restored in Herkimer County by 2:00 p.m. and in Oneida County by 3:00 p.m.

Thousands are waking up without power this morning across Central New York. The areas most impacted by the outage are Oneida and Herkimer Counties.

Below is the list of cities, towns, and villages without power by numbers and the estimated time of a resolution to the issue from National Grid.

Oneida County

Verona - 94
Vienna - 31

All power is said to be restored in Oneida County by 8:30 a.m. Most power should be restored by 6:30 a.m.

Herkimer County

Town of Litchfield - 20
Manheim - 52
Russia - 382
Salisbury - 29
Schuyler - 38
Stark Town - 361
Webb - 23

All power in Herkimer County should be restored by 7 a.m.

There are no specific details as to why the power has gone out, but we will keep you updated.
