The Oneida County Sheriff's Office has deemed a threat made against Holland Patent Central Schools to not be credible.

Officials say, the Sheriff's Office was contacted late Wednesday night about a possible threat posted to a social media account.

An investigation immediately began and members of the Sheriff's Office interviewed all parties involved including the alleged juvenile subject.

Following the interviews, the Sheriff's Department made the determination that the threat was not credible and no charges have been filed.

At no time were the students or any school staff members in any danger.
