Three Injured In One-Car Crash In New Hartford

Three people were injured in a single vehicle crash on the on-ramp from Campion Road to State Route 8 southbound.

New Hartford Police and Utica Police both responded to the scene just before 5 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities say, the vehicle was overturned in a ditch along the on-ramp.

Police say, 23-year-old Keyshla Rivera of Utica was traveling south on State Route 8 when she failed to negotiatie the off ramp and her vehicle went through a grassy area, became airborne and came to rest in the ditch.

All occupants were able to free themselves from the vehicle, however each of them complained of pain and minor cuts.

Each of the occupants were transported to an area hospital for evaluation. The investigation is ongoing.
