A three-month long investigation into the burglary of a New Hartford home has resulted in the arrest of a young man.

Police say Thomas O'Toole, 18, allegedly entered the Larchmont Drive home through a rear window. He then stole more than $10,000 worth of jewelry and other items, before leaving.

Police say fingerprints left at the scene led them to O'Toole, who was arrested yesterday.

He was charged with Burglary, Grand Larceny and Criminal Mischief, then sent to the Oneida County Jail.

The Oneida County Jail has also verified that O'Toole was involved in another incident in October, when he robbed the Kirkland Byrne Dairy at knife point.
