Town Of Plymouth Fire Chief Dies In House Fire

The Town of Plymouth Fire Department Chief has died in a house fire.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office says 60-year old Frank Fowlston was found inside the home on County Road 21 in Plymouth early Monday morning.

An autopsy shows Fowlston died of smoke inhalation.

Officials say the fire appears to have started in the living room.

The cause is still under investigation.
