The Oneida County Sheriff's Office arrested a Trenton man Tuesday morning following an altercation in the Town of Trenton.

Officials say, deputies were called to a residence for a report of an out of control man and domestic dispute.

When law enforcement arrived, the male turned his aggression toward deputies.

An altercation ensued, during which a deputy was struck in the face with an object and eventually 25-year-old Zachary LaBarbera was taken into custody.

LaBarbera is being held in Oneida County Jail pending arraignment and is facing charges of Attempted Assault, Harassment and Resisting Arrest.

The deputy was treated for his injuries and returned to work.
